How original are the vehicles in Rebel’s 037 Line compared to the real Lancia 037?
- Rebel 037s use modern running gear options which are more accessible, being new off-the-shelf parts, and future proof - there are only so many race-ready original 037 Abarth 16v motors left in the world, and they don’t offer the same flexibility and endurance modern motors can provide.
- Rebel 037s use chassis and suspension geometry derived from data gathered from a works Lancia 037. Although our cars utilise a full tubular chassis, unlike the original car, the handling characteristics and performance of the original is preserved.

Who builds the cars?
- Carteroni, our exclusive 037 engineering partners, build our 037 2WD and Rolling Chassis vehicles.

Is this a takeover?
- No – our Rebel x Carteroni partnership is built to preserve each partner’s independence, which means Carteroni’s craft and knowledge is protected, while Rebel provides scale, capacity, and support.
